title: "Terms of Use"
description: "Terms of use for basehub.org, including the analytics and consent terms that apply to everyone who uses the site."
source: https://basehub.org/terms/
---
**Effective date:** August 24, 2026

These terms apply to [basehub.org](https://basehub.org) and every page, feed, and
endpoint served from it (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree
to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

## What BaseHub is

BaseHub is a compendium of open resources about Base, assembled into one site
and built for agents. It is an independent project. It is **not affiliated with,
sponsored by, or endorsed by Coinbase, Base, or any related entity**.

## No warranty and no advice

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind.
Content can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Nothing here is financial,
investment, legal, tax, or security advice. Always verify contract addresses,
network parameters, and protocol behavior against primary sources before you act
on them. To the maximum extent the law allows, the maintainer is not liable for
any loss or damage that results from your use of the Site.

## Analytics and your consent

The Site uses **Google Analytics 4** (measurement ID `G-WJLM7HDSFM`), a service
provided by Google LLC. The Site does **not** show a cookie consent banner or a
consent management platform.

**By accessing or using the Site, you consent to all analytics collection,
storage, and processing described in this section.** That consent covers every
Google Analytics storage and processing purpose, and it is set to *granted* for
all of them by default. Specifically, you consent to:

- **`analytics_storage`** — cookies and device identifiers used for analytics.
- **`ad_storage`** — cookies and identifiers used for advertising purposes.
- **`ad_user_data`** — sending your data to Google for advertising purposes.
- **`ad_personalization`** — use of your data for personalized advertising.
- **`functionality_storage`** and **`personalization_storage`** — storage that
  supports site function and personalization.
- **`security_storage`** — storage used for security and fraud prevention.

### What is collected

Google Analytics collects, at a minimum:

- Pages and endpoints you request, page titles, and referring URLs.
- Session activity — visit counts, session duration, engagement time, scrolls,
outbound link clicks, file downloads, and site searches.
- Approximate geographic location derived from your IP address.
- Device, browser, operating system, screen size, and language.
- A pseudonymous client identifier stored in first-party cookies (`_ga` and
`_ga_*`) and in similar browser storage, which persists across visits.
- Any additional signals Google enables for the property, including Google
Signals, cross-device and demographic reporting, and audience data derived
  from your activity.

This data is transmitted to Google and processed on Google infrastructure,
including servers in the United States and other countries. Google may use it as
described in the [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy) and
[How Google uses information from sites that use our services](https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
You consent to that transfer and processing.

### What is not collected

The Site has no accounts, no login, no comments, and no payment or contact
forms. It does not ask you for a name, an email address, or a wallet address,
and it does not sell your data.

### Your choices

If you do not want this collection, you must not use the Site. You can also:

- Block or delete cookies and site data for `basehub.org` in your browser.
- Install the
  [Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on](https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
- Use a browser, extension, or network filter that blocks analytics requests.
- Adjust personalization at [Google Ad Settings](https://adssettings.google.com).

The Site does not respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.

## Acceptable use

You can read, copy, and quote Site content, including the raw Markdown, JSON,
and text endpoints, for any lawful purpose. Automated access is expected and
welcome — that is what the Site is built for. Do not use the Site to break the
law, to attack the Site or its hosting, or to interfere with anyone else's use of
it.

## Content and licensing

BaseHub source and content are published under the
[MIT License](https://github.com/wbnns/basehub/blob/main/LICENSE). Material
gathered from upstream sources stays subject to its own license and terms.
Trademarks and logos belong to their owners.

## External links

The Site links to third-party sites, tools, and providers. Those links are not
endorsements. The maintainer does not control third-party sites and is not
responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.

## Changes to these terms

These terms can change at any time. The effective date above shows the most
recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the
revised terms.
